Tasks

-Performs general data entry -Schedules birthday and anniversary calls -Prints business cards -Orders office supplies for all office locations and departments -Answers company phones, provides information, and directs callers to the appropriate parties -Receives incoming shipments -Manages employee certificates -Sorts, opens and distributes mail daily and handles interoffice mail -Serves as backup to travel coordinator -Prepares shipments to go out via various vendors and customers -Ensures effective communications with management, callers, customers, and staff -Orders and maintains inventory of uniforms, distributing appropriately to employees -Greets and signs in guests/visitors -Performs administrative duties for other departments as needed to see projects to completion -Assists with office management tasks/duties -Conducts reference checks -Maintains conference room calendars

What You Bring

We are seeking a Receptionist to fill a key role in our Tacoma, Washington office. Evergreen Fire & Security is a US government contractor with sensitive access requirements. As our employee, you must also be able to satisfy federal government requirements for access to government information. Unless otherwise stated in the requirements section of an individual job listing, our positions require U.S. citizenship due to the level of access to sensitive information and/or restricted facilities. -Valid state driver’s license -MS Office experience -Willing & able to become a notary in Washington State -Interacts effectively with internal and external customers -Enjoys working in-office five days per week -Ability to pass pre-employment screenings (drug, background, and driving history) -Excellent customer service skills -Prior experience booking travel -Experience handling multiple phone lines -Extremely punctual and reliable
