Overview
Design and develop roadway infrastructure projects, including planning and client interaction

Tasks
-You will also have the opportunity to perform different roles on multi-disciplined projects including planning, technical design of minor project, production lead, task leader and assisting Project Manager and lead engineers. -Work on Project development as an individual or through team efforts to assist in developing project scopes and budgets, interfacing with and maintenance of client needs for the Project Manager, mentoring and development of junior staff and design/drafters, development of project plans and maintaining project schedules and ensuring project compliance with all Arcadis practices including quality and safety standards. -As a Project Roadway Design Engineer, you will assist in the development and design of infrastructure projects for roadways, including intersections, collector streets, urban arterials, rural and urban expressways, interstates and interstate interchanges.

What You Bring
-Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering -Proficiency with CAD particularly Microstation and OpenRoads. -Planning and/or Engineering experience with infrastructure, which may include environmental document preparation, cost estimates, technical reports, construction plans and project displays. -PE within 6 months of hire. -Interpersonal and client facing requirements will require someone with excellent, clear and concise, oral and written communication skills, and a demonstrated ability to contribute information to meetings, assist with effective client presentations and prepare written reports and meeting minutes. -OpenRoads Designer(3D) experience highly desirable -7+ years’ work experience which includes experience on GDOT projects. -Active participation in regional and/or national professional associations. -Georgia PE -You should also have strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills and be a self-motivated, team-oriented and flexible individual who possess the initiative and ability to tackle new projects, challenges, and concepts. -Prefer experience in a client facing role, either as a team or individual, making presentations and managing client expectations. -Must have the ability to work on multiple unique assignments simultaneously. -Familiarity with GDOT design standards and policies.
