Tasks

-Ensure full compliance with ISO 17025:2017 and other applicable standards. -Review and approve test reports before issuance to clients. -Manage day-to-day lab operations including equipment maintenance, calibration scheduling, and procurement planning. -Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance lab workflows, reduce testing time, and improve data integrity. -Act as the primary technical contact during client witness testing and ensure professional communication throughout the process. -Lead and supervise the setup, execution, and validation of HVAC system testing activities as per ISO 17025, AHRI, ASHRAE, and other relevant standards. -Oversee preparation of facilities, fixtures, and documentation prior to customer testing. -Author and update Laboratory Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensure adherence to quality systems. -Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians.

What You Bring

We are seeking a Lab Engineer with strong expertise in HVAC systems and Controls. The successful candidate will lead and supervise hands-on testing, manage client interactions, oversee report generation, and drive development of lab systems. This role involves ensuring compliance with international standards, optimizing lab operations, and mentoring junior engineers. -3–7 years of experience in HVAC or product testing environment. -Excellent documentation, analytical, and organizational skills. -Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver under strict timelines. -Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, or Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. -Strong understanding of HVAC system components, psychrometric principles, and performance testing. -Strong leadership, communication, and client management skills. -Proven experience with AHRI, ASHRAE, or ISO standards and certifications. -Advanced proficiency in programming and data acquisition systems.
