Tasks

-Support documentation, standardization, and adoption of best practices across sourcing and supply chain team -Propose a framework to quantify the impact of capacity enablement on cost savings, lead time reduction, and delivery performance. -Develop standard work for negotiation preparation, integrating Should Cost methodology, NSD, and key analytics. -Collaborate with the capacity team to ensure alignment, and secure validation from the Lean and QMS teams before publication. -Update and enhance capacity assessment flows by incorporating development levers (e.g., capex investment, temporary hiring, machine parameters) to support suppliers in meeting targets. -Finalize process maps and standard work for supplier capacity assessments, defining maximum potential capacity (GE-dedicated machines) versus actual operating capacity. -Partner with Global Commodity Leaders (GCLs) to review, refine, and validate negotiation preparation frameworks.

What You Bring

-Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for analysis, reporting, and presentation of findings. -Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field. -Strong written and verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. -Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple tasks, and deliver results within deadlines. -Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to structure complex data into clear, actionable outputs. -Ability to work in the US for an unlimited amount of time without company sponsorship. -Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (for US interns).

-Relocation Assistance: Co-op/Interns will be reimbursed for reasonable, proper, and documented expenditures incurred while initially reporting to work and returning to school/home upon completion of the assignment. Employees with a permanent address greater than 50 miles away from the work location are eligible. -Housing Allowance: Co-op/Interns employees receive a weekly housing allowance to help off-set living expenses when the co-op/Intern’s permanent residence is at least 50 miles away from the work location. -Employee Assistance Program, providing 24/7 confidential assessment, counseling and referral services -GE Vernova Retirement Savings Plan (RSP) after their accumulated service reaches 90 days, and they meet any other eligibility requirements as defined in the plans.
