  • Maintain the safety of warehouse operations in compliance with the company's Safety Standards, OSHA and any other applicable regulations.
  • Perform all job functions in accordance with the company's Safety Standards.
  • Manage and hire a team of warehouse teammates.
  • Supervise the unloading of trucks, checking in of material, and stocking of product in accordance with prescribed warehouse operations.
  • Resolve all receiving disputes quickly and effectively.
  • Manage, schedule, and train warehouse teammates assigned to the Receiving Team to ensure safe and efficient operation of all receiving functions.
  • Ensure that merchandise is received and stored in an efficient and economical manner and maintain required records in conformance with company policy.
  • Keep abreast of new warehousing methods and train your assigned team on new methods.
  • Successfully complete required safety and compliance training programs as assigned.
  • Set clear performance expectations and goals for teammates and conduct regular performance evaluations to assess progress and provide feedback and development.

  • Read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • 5+ years warehouse receiving and material handling experience
  • Be able to remain calm and function effectively in stressful, unexpected, and/or emergency situations.
  • Have a comprehensive knowledge of and be able to apply and enforce OSHA, DOT, and other warehouse and material handling safety regulations.
  • Be able to safely operate a forklift and other material handling equipment in use at the Profit Center.
  • 1+ year of leadership experience
  • Be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Be able to quickly develop a comprehensive knowledge of products sold at the Profit Center.
  • Be able to build and maintain positive working relationships with customers, vendors and co-workers.
  • Be able to learn and operate the computer related systems used for sales and warehouse operations.
  • Be able to learn Microsoft Office Outlook to communicate via email.
  • Knowledge of products sold at the Profit Center preferred
  • Possess a proper and valid driver's license
