Tasks

-Stay updated with changes in financial regulations, tax laws, and accounting standards. -Coordinate with internal and statutory auditors for audit processes. -Prepare and file monthly/quarterly/annual returns for TDS, and Income Tax. -Address audit observations and follow up on implementation of recommendations. -Ensure accuracy in financial reporting and prepare financial statements as per applicable accounting standards (Ind-AS/IFRS). -Manage day-to-day accounting operations including GL, AR, AP, and month-end closures. -Liaison with banks, financial institutions, and regulatory bodies. -Maintain books of accounts and ensure timely closure of books on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis. -Implement and monitor internal controls to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data. -Ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws, regulations, and deadlines. -Handle assessments, audits (Statutory & Internal), and queries from statutory authorities -Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. -Support in corporate filings, secretarial compliance (if required), and other legal matters. -Analyze financial performance and prepare reports for senior management.
