Review Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and developing fee proposals for project pursuits.
Maintains liaison with units and individuals inside and outside the organization.
Responsible for providing architectural design, guidance, calculations, analysis, studies, and specialized project-based design recommendations.
Reviews junior team member’s work for quality and recognition of training requirements.
Work with the Department Manager to create discipline plans to meet overall project team requirements for project scope and schedule.
Performs various management and leadership responsibilities alongside the Architecture Department Manager.
Leads Aspiring Architects in design and development of professional growth.
Works collaboratively with managers and other team members to achieve AECOM’s mission.
Maintains conformance with standards, established design practices, applicable codes, technical and industry standards for design and construction.
Will lead projects of various sizes and types as the Project Architect.

Must have strong communication skills, both spoken and written.
BA/BS in Architecture plus 6 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and or education.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Requires multi-disciplinary knowledge to lead and manage various size groups of architects, designers, and/or specialists.
Due to the nature of this work, U.S. citizenship is required
10+ years of strong technical skills and demonstrated experience in all phases of architecture project delivery
Registered Architecture (RA) License is required.
6+ years of experience working on large-scale projects, preferably federal government (Department of Defense), Public Safety, and Municipal project experience.
Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to cultivate a collaborative environment.
Experience leading Design/Build projects.
Diverse knowledge of architecture principles and practices.
