Tasks
-Perform electrical work and repairs on industrial/mining equipment -Maintain good housekeeping -While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear, in order to communicate to employees/visitors as well as function safely around heavy rolling equipment -Troubleshoot, evaluate and coordinate electrical needs, repairs and modifications -Meet or exceed company safety standards -Wear proper safety equipment while on plant grounds -Install, adjust and maintain all electrical equipment, gauges and instruments -Must wear protective equipment while at the location -Adhere to all CEMEX, OSHA, and MSHA rules and regulations at all times -Ensure that manufacturers standards of repair and maintenance are performed on all equipment

What You Bring
-Continuous exposure to extreme heat, extreme cold, extreme noise, and working outdoors -Programmable logic control and digital drive experience -Able to prioritize tasks and work as a team member, as well as individually -Be able to read, write, and speak English -36-601.01). Smoking and/or the use of tobacco or related products is prohibited in and on CEMEX property as well as any building and/or vehicle owned or leased by CEMEX. -SAP experience is a plus -Requires walking, sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and climbing to a significant degree -Power distribution experience or understanding up to 4160 volts -Heavy Work-Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and /or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects -Heavy Work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and /or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects -Able to read and understand English sufficiently to be able to read technical information contained in manuals, reports and related instructions -3 years’ experience in aggregate, cement or heavy industrial operations preferred -Bilingual a plus -Must be able to perform all job functions which include, but may not be limited to, pushing, turning, and/or pulling of controls -Able to read, write, and speak English -5 years electrical maintenance experience -Prefer associates degree or equivalent in electrical maintenance experience -Able to develop, read and use mechanical, electrical and structural sketches, blue prints and drawings -Must be able to perform all job functions which include, but may not be limited to walking, sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling, turning, climbing to a significant degree, and/or pulling of controls -3 years experience in aggregate, cement or heavy industrial operations preferred -Good mathematic/mechanical aptitude -Power distribution experience or understanding up to 4,160 volts -Electrical troubleshooting skills and experience with motor control circuits and relay logic -High school graduate. Prefer Associates Degree or equivalent in electrical maintenance experience -Strong analytical/problem solving skills -Computer literate and able to use existing systems and grow into company networked program of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Lotus Notes. -Excellent communication skills and attention to details
