The Role

Overview

Maintain, construct, and operate high‑voltage substation equipment across Queensland.

Tasks

-Work a 9-day fortnight with an RDO every second week. -Drive a strong Safety First culture by following and role-modelling best practices in the field -Perform critical maintenance, commissioning and project works -Resolve complex problems and support our network to deliver safe and reliable electricity to more than 5 million Queenslanders.

What You Bring

-The ability to travel frequently to remote substations across Queensland, and work closely with team members, you also will enjoy variety in your work -Qld Electrical Fitter / Mechanic licence -Current LVR & CPR Certification -High Risk Work Licence - Elevated Work Platform -Regular and remote travel across Queensland working in different locations throughout the year -A current ‘C’ Class drivers licence
