Entry-level bridge engineer performing design, modeling, calculations, and documentation.

Tasks
-Assist in the development of construction contract documents and review construction documents such as shop and working drawings. -Review inspection reports and perform bridge load ratings. -Provide 3D modelling, design, and drafting support for transportation structures such as bridges, culverts, retaining walls, utility vaults, noise abatement walls, sign structures, ITS structures, etc. -Perform quantity calculations and develop cost estimates. -Coordinate work activities with other disciplines.

What You Bring
-Expertise with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook). -Familiarity with AASHTO Bridge Design Standards. -Engineer-In-Training (EIT) certification. -Strong written and oral communication skills. -Knowledge of geometry, design manuals, and design guidelines. -Prior experience with structural design software such as: Openbridge, CSIBridge, or STAAD. -0-2 years of experience in bridge design and/or detailing. -Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering with a focus on Structures. -Familiarity with plan development with CADD (MicroStation and/or AutoCAD). -Ability to work independently and produce quality work as part of a design team.
