Research Associate I - PHCS

Description

• Receive detailed directions on all work and make suggestions to improve work processes.
• Participate in cross-functional technical team activities.
• Work on projects of moderate scope, analyzing situations or data to review identifiable factors.
• Present and discuss data within the group.
• Exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
• Assist in reducing to practice patentable inventions.
• Monitor work to ensure quality and continuously promote Quality First Time.
• Prepare technical reports, summaries, and quantitative analyses.
• Maintain complete and accurate records.
• Execute laboratory experiments, make detailed observations, and analyze data.

Requirements

• Backgrounds in chemistry or biology are considered.
• Experience with laboratory research.
• Entry-level experience preferred, less than 1 year.
• Skills in graphical and presentation software applications.
• Solid understanding of scientific principles, pathology, and development processes.
• Familiarity with scientific literature.
• Bachelor's degree in a scientific field.
• Strong collaboration and ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
• Basic knowledge of laboratory techniques.
• Familiarity with searching scientific literature.
• Proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet software.
• Hands-on wet lab skills required.
