Overview

Collects field survey data using GPS and traditional equipment for mapping and construction.

Tasks

-Help establish and mark reference points on the ground and assist in staking out construction or development sites. -Conduct field reconnaissance to identify survey landmarks and control points. -Use GPS systems to position survey markers and benchmarks at designated locations. -Ensure all instruments are functioning properly and adjust as needed for accurate readings. -Set up, calibrate, and maintain survey equipment in the field. -Work alongside the Party Chief to verify and check measurements and other critical data.

What You Bring

-Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with variety GPS, traditional, and leveling surveying equipment -Education: Associate's degree in surveying, geomatics, civil engineering technology, or a related field. -Physical Stamina: Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and navigate rough or uneven terrain. -Attention to Detail: Ability to perform accurate measurements and calculations. -Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve issues in the field to ensure accurate data collection.
