Tasks

-Leverage existing agency relationships to gain insight into upcoming work and position the firm competitively. -Develop a network of decision makers within targeted agencies -Serve as a connector for future hires, especially within the federal design space, and identify teaming partners who complement our offering or expand our eligibility. -Maintains active, relevant relationships within federal agencies – ideally with the DoD and/or the USACE Louisville or Fort Worth -Identify target agencies for project pursuits -Provide key recommendations on GO/NO-GO decision on federal projects -Drive capture planning, influence teaming decisions, and strengthen proposal narratives by being the client expert -Bring transferable portfolio projects from recent business development or client-facing roles that can be credibly included in qualifications and pursuit materials. -Manage client and owner relationships

What You Bring

-Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, both written and verbally -Must be comfortable operating in a matrixed pursuit environment – collaborating with federal sector leaders, communications staff, and technical leads -Familiarity with government proposal process is required -Extensive experience in a business development role, selling architecture and/or engineering services to federal agencies -Ability to travel domestically on a regular basis is required -Demonstrated success in pursuit leadership, capture strategy, and teaming development
