Quality Control Supervisor

Oversee daily QC activities, ensure compliance, manage CAPA, and drive improvements.

Tasks

-Conduct safety and 5S inspections as they relate to quality standards -Organize training for QC personnel and maintain qualifications -Verify calibration of applicable equipment -Review and monitor nonconforming products to ensure timely disposition -Update and maintain records of first-pass yield (FPY) and other quality indicators -Track and ensure closure of CAPAs (Corrective and Preventative Actions) -Monitor supplier quality performance and manage supplier corrective actions -Maintain Quality Metrics, KPIs, and audit documentation

What You Bring

-Bachelor's degree in a technical field +5 years of QC experience in a manufacturing environment -Speed: Operates with a sense of urgency, recognizing the competitive advantage of being swift and responsive. -Judgement: Ability to exercise discretion and lead initiatives autonomously. -Strong organizational, communication and attention to detail -Strong knowledge in fabrication, welding and wiring -Excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail -Experience training and mentoring QC personnel -Accountability: Ability to hold self and others to the highest of standards. -Ability to write accurate, clear and concise reports -Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 -Experience working with multiple departements to implement appropriate corrective actions -Familiarity with quality management systems -Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
