Overview
Inspect construction sites to ensure compliance with plans, specs, and standards.

Tasks
-Conduct tests to verify material properties for various construction materials including soil, concrete and asphalt. -Keep organized and up to date project files -Review construction plans and compare with observations to verify that materials and equipment conform with contract documents. -Observe field work to ensure workmanship and materials used meet standards. -Providing daily on-site inspection of construction work to ensure the project is in compliance with plans and specification. -Monitor and prepare daily documentation recording materials, construction activity, equipment, and manpower on various project sites.

What You Bring
-Experience with Microsoft Office -Bachelor’s degree (or Current Enrollment) from an accredited school of Civil Engineering -New Jersey DCA Certification is highly preferred -At least 2 years of experience in the construction industry or performing construction inspection -EIT and/or NICET II Plus Certifications -Candidate should be motivated, organized, and willing to work in the field -Reliable transportation to and from construction sites in varying locations. -NJSAT Lab or Field Testing -Associate’s degree (or Current Enrollment) in Engineering related curriculum -ACI Grade 1 Field Technician or Certification to operate nuclear density gauge. -Able to traverse construction sites
