The Role

Overview

Assist payroll department with timecard reconciliation, data entry, reporting, and compliance.

Tasks

-Perform miscellaneous payroll duties with some complexity, including daily reconciliation of timecards, record call-ins, updating the infraction database, and issuing required daily reports -Perform data entry, produce, and analyze reports while utilizing standard payroll and timekeeping systems -Coordinate data entry of new/rehires, terminations, rate changes, and other miscellaneous changes by Human Resources to ensure timely delivery of these data elements to on site Payroll/Timekeeping -Support a payroll staff and contribute to an environment for the development and professional advancement of staff members -Conform to compliance documentation for any work practices identified by management -Monitor the clock alley of craft hourly employees and as needed, subcontract personnel

-Good leadership and decision-making skills -Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job -Strong math skills -Experience with badge systems, timecard systems -Good understanding of file organization As Required -Strong interpersonal and communication skills -Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner -A combination of education and directly related experience equal to three (3) years; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements -Knowledge of craft wage packages, fringe benefits -Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors -Good personal computer skills to include Microsoft software
