The Role

Overview

Manage daily operations, team, finances, and resident relations for a multifamily property.

Tasks

-Compliance & Reporting: Ensure the property adheres to all legal requirements and company policies, preparing reports and updates for upper management. -Leadership & Team Management: Lead and develop your on-site team, ensuring they align with company goals and deliver excellent customer service. -Financial Performance: Oversee budget management, rent collections, and expense control to meet or exceed financial goals and ensure maximum occupancy. -Marketing & Leasing: Develop and implement marketing strategies to ensure full occupancy, working closely with leasing teams to drive success. -Property Maintenance: Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure the property remains in top condition, addressing any issues promptly.

What You Bring

-High school diploma or GED equivalent required; Associates degree or equivalent level of education and experience; bachelor’s degree preferred. -Resident Satisfaction: Build strong relationships with residents, addressing concerns, fostering community engagement, and maintaining high resident retention rates. -Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team. -Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and be on-call as needed. -Excellent communication and organizational skills. -4+ years of progressive experience in a similar multifamily product, with a minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Community Manager in multifamily. -CAM designation is a plus. -A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle is required for this role for purpose of routine outreach marketing and shopping comps; mileage reimbursement will be provided at IRS current rate. -Solid understanding of budgeting, financial reporting, and market trends. -Experience with Class A or luxury lease-up properties preferred. -Must be familiar with Microsoft Office Suite; proficiency in Yardi software preferred.
