Overview

Weld and fabricate metal components using MIG and 3G vertical welding per AWS D1.1

Tasks

-Perform welding and fabrication tasks using MIG welding techniques in accordance with industry standards and project specifications. -Inspect and maintain welding equipment, ensuring all tools are in safe working condition. -Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and meet deadlines. -Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately construct and assemble components. -Adhere to safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and following OSHA guidelines. -Measure, cut, and shape metal materials using a variety of tools, such as grinders, torches, and saws. -Conduct quality control checks on welds to ensure structural integrity and visual standards. -Execute welding operations in the 3G vertical position and ensure compliance with AWS D1.1 standards.

What You Bring

-Physical ability to lift heavy materials (up to 75 lbs), stand for extended periods, and work in varying environmental conditions. -Experience with robotic welding systems. -Additional certifications such as OSHA 10/30, forklift operation, or related industry training. -Valid AWS D1.1 certification and demonstrated proficiency in the 3G (Vertical) welding position. -Strong ability to interpret and follow blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols. -Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. -Bilingual preferred but not required. -Minimum of 2 years of experience in welding and metal fabrication (preferred). -Familiarity with cutting tools, fabrication machinery, and measuring devices. -Knowledge of various metals, including steel. -Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
