Tasks

-Work with customers to solve automation issues. -Follow directions and ask questions, as necessary. Keep in constant communication with the Automation Lead and advise of any issues that need to be addressed. -Must meet deadlines while working safely to ensure a quality product. -All employees who support partner companies are expected to follow the safety and employee conduct policies of the partner company which includes on-call obligations. -Responsible for the accuracy of service tickets and timely submission. -Promote a positive working environment to achieve the organization’s goals. -Maintain accurate records of time and materials used on different projects. -Performs all work in compliance with company standards, does not deviate from policies and procedures, and adheres to regulatory requirements. -Safely drive to customer locations and safely perform the required work.

What You Bring

-Ability to effectively interact with co-workers, clients, vendors, and other business contacts. -Ability to calibrate analog inputs and loop test circuits. -Two - Four years' experience in an automation position. -Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy is required with a solid work ethic. -Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel -Must adhere to the Company’s attendance policy. -Must comply with Roeslein & Method Flow Products' core values for the safe and efficient operation of the business and the commitment to maintain respectful relationships with all employees. -Must be able to install automation devices on oil field equipment including pressure transmitters, level gauges, pneumatic valve controllers (Solenoids), gas/oil/water meters, and ESD buttons. -Experience with different hand/power tools (EX: screwdrivers, wire strippers, wrenches, drills, impact drivers, shovels, pick ax, etc.) -Automation and Instrumentation -Safety is essential at Method Flow Products and all safety training classes must be completed with a 100% pass rate. -A high school diploma or G.E.D. is preferred but not required. -Experience with SCADA register maps and third-party integration -Ability to setup Modbus communication -Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, are required. -Excellent networking skills -Experience programming logic using analog inputs/outputs, digital inputs/outputs, relays, etc. -Excellent organization and planning skills. -Vast experience with flow computers and/or PLCs (TotalFlow, ROC, Allen Bradley, SCADAPak) -Ability to trace wires from end devices back to RTU and PLC cabinets. -Experience with various pressure/temperature transmitters, level indicators, flow meters, power distribution panels, valve actuators, etc. -Strong problem-solving ability -Skilled at the installation of steel piping stacks, gauges, and conduit fittings with the ability to cut and mount Unistrut. Pull wire, zip-tie piping, place and fasten in cable tray, dig trenches, and run wire as needed. Terminate wire into devices and junction boxes. -Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record and be 21 years of age to drive a company truck. -Must be a leader who represents the organization with the ability to be a liaison to our customers, adhere to company standards, and resolve issues with urgency and professionalism. -Requires effective time management skills, personal conduct, and change management abilities. -Strong volt/multimeter skills (AC/DC voltage, continuity & resistance testing) -Must follow good housekeeping practices. -Must follow training and company procedures. -Ability to work flexible hours including overtime.
