- Work with Project Managers and Architecture Studio Leadership to define scope from initial project information and support preparation of associated fee proposals, schedules, work plans and additional service requests as required.
- Develop and oversee architectural drawings (plans, elevations, sections, details, etc.) and specifications.
- Becoming actively involved in related organizations at the leadership level.
- Promote firm and project goals of excellence in design, execution, and sustainability
- Direct document production in accordance with identified project specific checklists, AECOM standards, and quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) process.
- Build strong relationships and interactions with clients, consultants, project management, and stakeholders.
- Provide a design-driven technical leadership approach to the architecture team.
- Anticipate and develop solutions to technical and design problems following established standards.

- Bachelor's degree in architecture or a related field + 6 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
- Due to the nature of work, U.S. citizenship is required.
- Strong organizational skills – ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficient in REVIT, Adobe and other software used for design development and documentation.
- Sponsorship for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this position.
- Master’s Degree.
- Ability to be client facing, lead client discussions and charrettes.
- Experience with various delivery methods including Design-Build and Design-Bid-Build.
- Self-motivated with proven leadership skills.
- 8+ years of relevant experience.
- Ability to Mentor mid-level and junior-level architectural designers to develop quality documents.
- Experience with large, complex projects.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Licensed as a Registered Architect.
- Detail oriented, thorough, well-organized and have strong time-management skills.
- Federal and Health Sciences project experience strongly desired.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teams across multiple AECOM offices.
- Advanced knowledge of the architectural planning and design process, construction documentation, construction administration and code requirements.
