Tasks

-Oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and cost control. -Oversee project delivery from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring all documentation and turnover requirements are met. -Manage subcontractor buyout, procurement, and contract administration. -Lead all phases of project management for ground-up commercial construction projects. -Foster strong relationships with owners, architects, engineers, and trade partners. -Coordinate closely with field teams to maintain progress, quality, and safety standards. -Conduct regular site visits and project meetings to ensure alignment and execution.

What You Bring

Our client, a well-established commercial general contractor, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their growing team in Austin, TX. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives on accountability, execution, and delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget. -Proficiency in project management software (Procore, MS Project, or similar). -Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities. -Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred). -Proven success managing retail, tilt-wall, warehouse, or distribution projects. -5–10 years of experience in commercial ground-up construction. -Local experience in Central Texas preferred.
