Finance Intern

Overview

10‑week finance internship assisting reporting, budgeting, analysis and projects.

Tasks

-Help review invoices, expense reports, and purchase orders for accuracy and compliance -Support the budgeting and forecasting process by gathering and organizing data from multiple departments -Conduct financial and operational research to identify trends, variances, and cost-saving opportunities -Prepare and maintain spreadsheets, reconciliations, and variance analyses to support internal reporting -Assist with financial reporting, data entry, and month-end close activities -Participate in ad hoc projects, such as financial modeling, KPI dashboards, and process improvement initiatives -Collaborate cross-functionally with Accounting, Operations, and HR to understand the flow of financial data across the business -Present findings and recommendations to the Finance team at the end of the internship.

What You Bring

-Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities. -Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities -Minimum GPA requirement of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale in their major, 2.7 overall. -Clear written and verbal communication skills -Students must be 18 years of age (or older) by the start of the summer internship assignment. -Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field -Eagerness to learn and contribute to a collaborative, team-oriented environment -Strong proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, lookups, formulas) and familiarity with financial software or ERP systems is a plus
