Overview

Assist civil engineers on aviation projects, doing take‑offs, modeling, drawings and reports.

Tasks

-Collaborate with other engineers, drafters, and support staff -Assist with computer modeling -Assist in production of engineering drawings, calculations, and cost estimates under close supervision of senior engineers -Perform quantity take-offs -Assist with project monitoring and scheduling -Assist with producing progress reports

-Become familiar with engineering plans and details -Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while also able to effectively collaborate in a team environment -Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with a proven ability to efficiently prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously -Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of producing clear documentation and interacting professionally with clients and colleagues -Requires current 3rd year standing as an undergraduate, or a Graduate student standing, in an accredited Civil Engineering program. -Strong commitment to integrity, consistently demonstrating ethical, fair, and responsible behavior -Experience with MS Word, Excel and engineering software -Knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D
