Overview

Maintain and service hospital mechanical water systems, plumbing and legionella compliance.

Tasks

Duties include but not limited to; Monitoring tap temperatures, changing taps, TMVs, TMTs, Plumbing tasks, Installing showers, taps and sinks Managing Legionella compliance -Ensure that routine PPM is carried out to the Mechanical infrastructure and plant in accordance with Site task schedules and CAFM -Managing Legionella compliance -Ensure that reactive tasks throughout the sites are completed and be proactive in highlighting areas where improvements can be made -Ensure that plant faults and defects are always swiftly remedied to maintain plant in serviceable order -Ensure that suitable spares are available to carry out both maintenance and reactive works. To provide parts lists and estimated timescales to carry out remedial works -Ensure that all relevant paperwork/CAFM is completed regarding PPM, reactive and breakdown works and that it is passed without delay to the contract administrator -Duties include but not limited to; Monitoring tap temperatures, changing taps, TMVs, TMTs, Plumbing tasks, Installing showers, taps and sinks -Take part in an on-call rota

What You Bring

Previously worked within a maintenance environment This role includes a DBS Standard check therefore ability to pass is essential. Previously worked within a healthcare maintenance environment (Desirable) For this role, you must have evidence of the right to work in the UK. Unfortunately, we are not able to offer a re-location package with this job role. Certain roles may require applicants to undergo a Disclosure check, as noted in the role requirements. -Previously worked within a healthcare maintenance environment (Desirable) -Previously worked within a maintenance environment -Level 2 Plumbing qualification
