Tasks
The Document Controller II at Al Bawani Construction Company is responsible for managing and organizing project documents, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company and industry standards. This role involves setting up and maintaining document control systems, coordinating with project teams, and ensuring all documentation is properly filed, archived, and easily accessible. Document Controller II plays a critical role in supporting project delivery and maintaining the integrity of the company’s document management processes. -Develop, implement, and maintain a robust document control system to ensure easy retrieval, version control, and document security. -Ensure timely distribution of documents to relevant departments and personnel. Maintain both hard and soft copies of records in an organized filing system. -Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure proper document flow and adherence to documentation standards. -Assist in internal and external audits by providing accurate documentation and ensuring compliance with document control procedures. -Protect sensitive and confidential information by following company data security protocols. -Track the status of all controlled documents and generate periodic reports on document activity, revisions, and pending approvals. -Provide guidance and training staff on document management processes and tools. -Maintain and manage all project-related documents in accordance with company policies and quality management standards. -Regularly review document control processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy. -Verify document accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established formats before submission or distribution.

What You Bring
-Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in a relevant field (e.g., Information Systems, Business Administration). -Experience in providing technical support and training to end-users. -Experience working with Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS) (e.g., Aconex, ASITE, Procore, or similar platforms). -ERP knowledge, preferably SAP functional skills. -Knowledge of data security and protection best practices. -Basic understanding of document control processes and compliance standards (e.g., ISO 9001). -Excellent organizational and time management skills, strong attention to detail and accuracy. -Certification in Document Management Systems (e.g., CDMP or equivalent) is a plus. -Excellent verbal and written communication skills. -Strong understanding of Drawing Office/Document Control procedures. -Higher education in Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field. -Minimum of 3 years of experience in document management or a related field, preferably in the construction or engineering industry. -Strong team player with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
