Floor Technician - Nighttime

Overview

Maintain and restore various floor surfaces using stripping, waxing, buffing, and carpet cleaning.

Tasks

-Assist with light maintenance tasks (e.g., changing light bulbs, minor repairs). -Follow health and safety guidelines. -Apply new layers of floor wax/finish evenly using mops or applicators. -Buff out surface scratches and scuffs to polish floors and restore shine. -Support special cleaning or facility setup tasks as needed. -May operate a boom lift or other equipment for high-reach cleaning or maintenance. -Strip old layers of wax, finish, dirt, and debris from hard-surface floors with industrial-grade stripping solutions and floor machines. -Assist with light janitorial tasks (e.g., emptying trash and recycling bins, cleaning mirrors and windows, dusting). -Clean carpets using hot water extraction or shampooing machines to spot-treat stains and remove embedded dirt.

What You Bring

-English/ Spanish bilingual strongly preferred. -Must be comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions. -Strong attention to detail. -Prior cleaning experience is a plus, but not required. -Prior experience in floor care is a plus but not required. -Frequent lifting, carrying, and moving of objects up to 50 lbs. -Regular bending, stooping, kneeling, and reaching. -Ability to climb ladders and work at heights as needed. -Ability to work independently or as part of a team. -Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
