Overview

Operate and program Zeiss CMMs on 3rd shift to inspect parts and ensure quality.

Tasks

-Set up and operate Zeiss CMMs to inspect parts according to engineering drawings and specifications -Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, machinists, and quality control personnel -Analyze measurement data, generate CMM reports, and identify any deviations from the required tolerances -Verify assemblies and components for dimensional accuracy -Perform thorough inspections of prototype and production parts, ensuring they meet close tolerance and quality requirements -Perform routine maintenance and calibration checks on CMM equipment to ensure accuracy and efficiency -Develop and optimize inspection programs using Zeiss software (e.g., Calypso) to measure parts accurately -Maintain accurate records of inspection results, including creating and maintaining inspection reports. Ensure compliance with quality system procedures and documentation. -Ensure manufactured parts meet the quality standards and collaborate with manufacturing engineering and quality to address issues

What You Bring

Citizenship requirement: Due to the nature of the work, U.S. citizenship is required. Travel requirements: Due to the nature of the work, 0% of travel is required. -The position requires being on 3rd shift, hours 12:00 AM -7:00 AM -Ability to analyze measurement data, identify trends, and interpret results -You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours. -Shop floor environment, which may include, but is not limited to, extensive walking, and the ability to lift up to 40 lbs. -Ability to validate CMM programs -Proficiency in setting up and operating Zeiss CMMs and experience with relevant software (Calypso) -Experience with various measurement tools and techniques -Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)

Pay Range: $35.00 / hr - $40.00/ hr Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure.
