Tasks

The Commercial Manager is responsible for managing the commercial, financial, and contractual aspects of large-scale telecommunications and ICT projects. The role ensures that all commercial activities are aligned with corporate objectives, profitability targets, and governance standards. This position plays a key role in supporting strategic decision-making, developing financial models, and producing executive-level reporting for mega projects and complex enterprise deals. Monitoring Business Performance -Lead commercial planning, analysis, and execution for high-value telecom and ICT projects, including government and enterprise accounts. -Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely execution of commercial deliverables and customer commitments. -Oversee commercial evaluations, pricing models, and bid strategies to ensure profitability and competitiveness. -Develop comprehensive commercial and financial reports for mega projects, highlighting revenue performance, cost structure, margins, and risk exposure. -Provide commercial insight and recommendations to senior management for decision-making on bids, renewals, and strategic partnerships. -Participate in business case development and long-term planning for major telecom and ICT opportunities. -Track contract execution, billing, and project-level profitability to ensure financial integrity and compliance. -Ensure adherence to internal approval processes, delegation of authority, and financial governance policies. -Contribute to continuous improvement of commercial policies, tools, and templates to enhance efficiency and reporting accuracy. -Review and negotiate commercial terms and conditions in collaboration with legal, finance, and procurement teams. -Support management with periodic dashboards, forecasts, and performance summaries for strategic initiatives.

What You Bring

Strategic and Analytical Thinking Excellent communication, analytical, and presentation skills. Strong background in commercial management, pricing, financial modelling, and contract governance. Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or related field (CA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, CFA is preferred). 8–12 years of experience in the telecommunications and ICT sectors, with proven exposure to large-scale projects and strategic deals. Experience in working with multi-functional teams including sales, project management, finance, and legal. Advanced proficiency in Excel, financial reporting tools, and data analysis.
