Oversee development of preliminary and detailed civil /structural analysis and design for concrete, steel, hydraulic structures.
Assist in project administration and management including writing reports, gathering information, drafting proposals, drafting correspondence, and completing progress reports.
Develop or assist in development of budgets, scopes of work, and project plans.
Inspect construction for compliance with specifications; review and approve drawings; conduct field inspections; review progress versus schedule.
Mentor junior staff and assist in their professional development.
Participate in multidisciplinary teams in a virtual team environment as well as in an office environment.
Lead structural design tasks and projects.
Oversee preparation of studies, design criteria, design reports, plans and specifications, and review of related designs and construction plans, and support of construction.

Ability to prepare complete, concise, and organized engineering calculations and analyses.
Preferred Software Experience: finite element software such as SAP2000, ANSYS or LS DYNA.
Capability and desire to lead teams and tasks.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, report preparation, and the ability to work with engineering staff at all levels.
10+ years’ of relevant structural engineering experience.
Strong familiarity with BIM/CAD platforms and the development of contract documents.
Proactive approach to working with teams in other offices and around the world.
Strong expertise in analysis and design methods for hydraulic structures.
B.S. in Civil Engineering with focus on Structural engineering, Master’s degree with emphasis in structural engineering preferred.
Structural analysis and design of hydraulic structures and familiarity with the relevant codes and guidelines.
