Sr. Construction Inspector 4

Overview

Conduct road/bridge construction inspections, ensure compliance, and supervise inspection staff.

Tasks

-Adhere to project scope, schedule, and budget. -Supervise subordinate construction inspectors and provide assistance to project management as required. -Review reports, testing procedures, and documentation prepared by subordinate inspectors to ensure compliance with client policies and procedures. -Perform construction inspection and reporting of concrete, earthwork, and asphalt pavement. -Proactively resolve problems. -Submit accurate time sheets, mileage, and expense reports on time each week. -Maintain all required certifications and participate in training courses as required. -Assist the Project Administrator as required. -Review jobsite safety daily and take immediate action to document and resolve issues. -Review all work for completeness and accuracy prior to submitting. -Road and bridge construction inspection, material sampling and testing, and reporting. -Identify training requirements and arrange for staff training. -Evaluate staff performance and provide input to project management staff. -Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, staff, and supervisors. -Accurately record and report daily forms per project requirements. -Supervise onsite team.

What You Bring

-Demonstrate basic math skills, including geometry and trigonometry. -Possess the ability to read, write, and communicate fluently. -Ability to pass and maintain required certifications. -Ability to understand construction plans, specifications, and procedures. -Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience -Understand OSHA Safety Standards and KCI corporate policies and follow them at all times. -Valid Driver’s License -Understand all applicable industry standards for projects and perform all tasks per standards and client requirements. -Availability for day and/or night work to support the contractor's schedule. -Work effectively as a team member and complete daily reports by hand and computer. -Pre-employment drug screening is a condition of employment. Background and motor vehicle checks are required.
