Tasks

-Lead the design, development, and optimization of Anaplan models for Supply Chain and Financial business functions with deep understanding of how Anaplan's architecture ensuring they align with business requirements and deliver value to the organization with a focus on efficiency and scalability. -Define and govern best practices for Anaplan model design, such as managing the use of sparsity, minimizing circular references, and optimizing the size of modules and lists. -Integrate data from various sources into Anaplan using bulk data imports efficiently and minimizing the impact of data loads on model performance -Regularly review and optimize Anaplan models for performance and areas of improvement, ensuring efficient processing and quick data retrieval. Troubleshoot and resolve model-related issues as they arise. -Provide guidance and mentorship to junior model builders. -Perform rigorous testing to ensure the accuracy, reliability, and functionality of Anaplan models. -Build models for maximum performance using techniques like minimizing the use of lists with large numbers of items, optimizing module calculations, and reducing unnecessary dependencies between modules. -Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and understand requirements, translating them into functional specifications for Anaplan model designs. -Document model designs, business rules, and key processes for future reference. -Identify performance bottlenecks and inefficient model structures and fine-tune how Anaplan processes data and runs calculations.

What You Bring

-Minimum of 5 years of experience working with Anaplan as a Model Builder, including hands-on experience in designing and building complex models. -Proficiency in Anaplan’s Model Building environment, including modules, views, and dashboards. -Expertise in Anaplan modeling, including developing complex formulas, business rules, and reports. -Advanced Anaplan Model Builder certifications or participation in Anaplan's Advanced Model Performance Optimization Training is a plus -Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand complex business requirements and translate them into actionable Anaplan models. -Design intuitive, user-friendly dashboards and interfaces in Anaplan that meet the needs of end users and provide actionable insights. -Experience in Anaplan data integration (e.g., loading data using Anaplan Connect, REST APIs, etc.). -Engineering degree in computer science, data science, IT or a related field -Experience with any Object oriented programming language (Python, Java etc) is a must. -Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data integrity, performance, and functionality. -Strong understanding of supply chain and financial planning business processes.
