Manage construction of rail stations and related infrastructure in Abu Dhabi.

Tasks

-Prepares progress reports, dashboards, and forecasts for senior management and client review. -Serves as the primary point of contact for client representatives, government authorities, and subcontractors for all construction-related activities. -Implements robust construction practices and quality management systems to ensure the highest standards of safety, reliability, and compliance with UAE regulatory frameworks. -Oversees manpower, materials, and equipment allocation to achieve performance and budget targets, proactively addressing risks and bottlenecks. -Promotes strong relationships with local stakeholders and communities, reflecting the project’s strategic importance to the UAE’s national infrastructure vision. -Ensures availability and coordination of subcontractors, suppliers, and major plant/equipment to maintain optimal progress and productivity. -Leads and mentors Construction Superintendents and Engineers in multiple work zones, reviewing performance, ensuring compliance with project specifications, and recommending improvements as necessary. -Ensures compliance with all company, client, and government policies, including labor, environmental, and health and safety regulations. -Directs overall planning and execution of construction activities across rail corridors, stations, and supporting infrastructure, identifying critical milestones and ensuring alignment with program objectives. -Develops and manages construction budgets, schedules, and resource plans for assigned packages.

What You Bring

-Demonstrated leadership and ability to drive large multicultural teams toward shared goals. -Deep commitment to safety, quality, and sustainability principles consistent with UAE and international standards. -Excellent planning, problem-solving, and communication skills in English; Arabic language skills are advantageous. -Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, interface management, and commissioning processes in railway projects. -Proven track record managing complex, multidisciplinary, and high-value rail projects in international environments, preferably within the GCC. -Comprehensive understanding of rail construction methodologies, including civils, track, structures, systems (signaling, OCS, E&M), and station interfaces. -Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken). -Experience in infrastructure projects, particularly in power distribution and site contractor management. -Safety qualifications or awareness training. -Proven expertise in construction management, including development and delivery across multi-disciplinary teams and stakeholders. -Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline, with a minimum of 15 years of experience in rail projects, including extensive experience in metro or rail station construction.
