Aboricultural Site Supervisor

Overview

Manage on-site vegetation work, safety, budgets, and stakeholder coordination

Tasks

-Ensuring projects are delivered within budget, to programme and safely. -Working closely with the Operational Lead. -Where applicable, making sure machinery and/or traffic management is booked. -Ensuring a suitably competent workforce (including subcontractors) is in place to complete all site activities. -Performing quality checks in-line with contract specification -Cultivating open 2-way communication and building trust within the team. -Undertaking site audits and inspections to ensure Health and Safety compliance with relevant legislation. -Setting SMART objectives, producing KPIs and working to deadlines.

What You Bring

-A critical and analytical mindset, capable of making sound judgements and decisions -Good IT literacy, with a solid understanding of LV and HV diagrams, including naming and labelling conventions -Experience working on overhead powerlines and/or in vegetation management -Demonstrating excellent stakeholder management; collaborating with customers, clients, local authorities and third parties. -Strong communication skills, with the confidence to engage with both internal and external stakeholders -The ability to effectively plan and organise staff and machinery around power outages -Experience in coaching or mentoring, with the ability to lead and develop a team
