Overview

Architect role handling design, documentation, and sustainability using Revit.

Tasks

-Perform area calculations according to specified standards. -Prepare drawings for schematic design and design development. -Prepare preliminary design studies and adaptations of alternatives for review. -Assists in preparing adaptations and technical alternatives for project team review. -Adhere to firm and project goals of excellence in design, execution, and sustainability. -Perform site analysis, including survey of existing conditions and field measurements. -Perform tasks according to Perkins and Will Project Delivery Manual. -Organize and plan accordingly to execute tasks. -Prepare contract documents including details, sections, elevations and schedules. -Produce amendments, addenda and bulletins.

What You Bring

-Graphic and 3D visualization skills -Comfortable working in an open, multi-disciplinary, and team-oriented environment; -Openness to participating in collaborative design exercises; -Knowledge of construction materials -Excellent organizational and multitasking skills; and -Self-check work for accuracy, omissions and legibility. -4+ years experience -Has the capacity to mobilize from one construction site to another. -Professional Degree in Architecture -LEED AP or within 6 months of hire -Intermediate knowledge of project design and construction documentation production -Ability and experience in balancing multiple stakeholder and community interests; -Experience in all phases and aspects of a project is desirable -A minimum of 2 years working with Revit -Experience in Contract Administration -Exercise creative judgment and design application skills in preparing client presentation materials, including design sketches, renderings, models and graphics. -Collaborative and professional work ethic -Effective verbal and written communication skills
