Overview

Lead site investigation and remediation projects, managing teams and client relationships in Ohio.

Tasks

-Effectively stewarding and building client relationships to facilitate repeat business; -Managing challenging technical projects while leveraging your existing knowledge and experience to help Geosyntec expand its current practices and capabilities through business development and client management; -Drive personal, company, and rental vehicles to client or company project or office sites, and other business locations, as needed. -Management and mentoring of early career staff and managing subcontractors; -Preparing for and participating in meetings with clients, regulatory personnel, and other parties. -Task and project management, including planning and implementing investigation and remediation projects, budgeting and budget management, adherence to schedule, quality, client satisfaction, and profitability; -Work plan development, data evaluation, and report writing; -Developing remedial strategies and site-specific closure strategies; -Managing complex site investigation and remediation implementation efforts for a variety of project sites; -At times, the job may also include travel or field visits associated with site evaluations, remediation system evaluations, or client meetings. -Preparing technical reports, letters, memoranda, plans, specifications, and proposals;

What You Bring

-Ability to succeed in a fast-paced consulting environment, handling multiple project assignments, meeting strict deadlines, and traveling to client facilities as needed. (required) -Current OSHA 40-hr HAZWOPER training and refreshers. (preferred) -Valid U.S. driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record for business travel. (required) -Advanced degree in earth science, environmental engineering, or a related field. (preferred) -Professional registration (i.e., P.E, P.G.), if applicable. (required) -Demonstrated success in the development and management of clients (required) -Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering, geology, or a related field. (required) -At least 10 years (15+ preferred) of directly relevant experience in a consulting environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. (required) -Candidates must currently hold and maintain valid U.S. work authorization. New H-1B visa lottery and employment based green card sponsorship are not available for this position.

Benefits

-Minimum Salary: $120,960/year / Maximum Salary: $225,880/year (OH)
