Overview

Summer R&D intern supporting research and product development in commercial roofing.

Tasks

-Design and perform experiments with moderate to heavy supervision, interprets and evaluates data, contributes to written reports -Collect, analyze and present scientific data to key stakeholders and senior management

What You Bring

-Candidates with experiences related to lab environment are preferred -GPA of 3.0 -Excellent communication skills -Ability to gather and understand customer insights and translate them into meaningful new solution development opportunities -Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States, without visa sponsorship now and in the future. -Major in chemistry, polymer science, engineering or related fields. Current Sophomores (Graduating 2028) or current Juniors (Graduating 2027)-only. -Ability to participate from June 1, 2026 - August 7, 2026 -Hands-on skills through prototype building and testing of new product concepts -Learn, be curious and brainstorm on potential new ideas for optimizing commercial roofing products and systems that will bring value to the end users (Architects, Roof Contractors, Consultants) -Creativity and willingness to learn and have fun driving new product innovations -Ability to travel and visit plants or customer sites as needed (10% time)
