Overview
Oversee payroll team, ensure accurate, timely processing and drive process improvements.

Tasks
-Implement quality control measures and identify process improvements. -Ensure personal and team outcomes have a positive impact on customer objectives. -Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Guide team through the application of basic knowledge of practices and procedures. Work to build consensus. -Supervise and coordinate year-end processing, including supplemental payroll runs and calendars. -Coach and mentor team members and implement workable solutions to business issues and problems with minimum referral to management. -Train team members on new or enhanced operation procedures and policies. Confirm team members have the necessary skills and performance attributes, inline with business and personal development needs. -Monitor workload, evaluates direct reports, and may review the evaluations and development plans of others. -Operate as the subject matter expert and escalation point to resolve issues. Continuously look for improvements in operational processes and designs and implement those initiatives. -Resolve complex problems and identify appropriate approaches to existing solutions to accomplish team objectives. -Assist with system development activities and participate in testing activities. -May establish new techniques to ensure the team is able to meet its objectives. -Conduct work planning, estimation, and prioritization to improve team performance. Work with Payroll Manager to define standards and goals.

What You Bring
-Excellent organizational skills with a master-level inquisitive mindset. -Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. -The ability to explain complex concepts or sensitive information. -Exceptional math skills. Ability to calculate sophisticated figures such as percentages, discounts, and markups. -High School Diploma or GED with 5+ years of job-related experience. -Prior shift leader or supervisory experience preferred. -In-depth understanding of a range of processes, procedures, systems, and concepts within own job function and basic knowledge of related job functions required.
