  • Serve as the primary client contact as needed, managing daily communications, expectations, and relationships.
  • Lead and coordinate interdisciplinary teams through business development, project design and delivery.
  • Partner with Market Leaders, quality-assurance leads and Project Approvers to ensure technical and design excellence, client satisfaction, and financial success.
  • Oversee project documentation in compliance with AECOM’s project management framework for projects in any of a range of delivery modes – design-build, design-bid build, construction manager at risk, progressive design-build.
  • Manage project scope, schedule, budget, staffing, and quality across multiple complex projects.
  • Develop project execution strategies/plans, review contracts, and prepare fee proposals.
  • Liaise with the managing principal to build a culture of thought leadership.
  • Set standard practices for the department where helpful, and mentor staff to improved performance as well as their chosen career path/development.
  • Manage sub-consultants: define scope, negotiate fees, track deliverables and performance.
  • Track project performance, identify and mitigate scope changes, scope creep, delays, or quality issues.

  • NCARB Certification and LEED Accreditation.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills; adaptable to various audiences.
  • 10 years of project management experience in transportation, infrastructure, or Federal architectural projects and experience in project leadership on complex architectural projects.
  • Excellent organizational skills, time management, and attention to detail.
  • Sponsorship for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this position.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture plus eight years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
  • Demonstrated experience working with Federal or public sector agencies.
  • Proficiency in Revit and other BIM tools.
  • U.S. Citizenship
