Tasks
We are looking for a Workshop Team Leader who will be responsible for ensuring all jobs are processed through the workshop to completion. The Team Leader supports, coaches and manages all team members including apprentices / trainees. -Work within the company’s policies, procedures, operating standards, and work instructions. -Maintain a safe working environment to avoid risks to self and others. -Provide technical support to the workshop team. -Prioritizing workload and labour to achieve maximum capacity to meeting deadlines. -Prepare for and attend production meetings. -Arrange any third party or sub-contracting workshops. -Update status reports. -Arrange any third-party repairs and maintenance of fixed plant or equipment. -Ensure adequate cover if provided on all shifts. -Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with company policies, procedures, standards and work instructions. -Plan and co-ordinate project work. -Monitoring and controlling costs of materials and labour on jobs. -Sourcing and purchasing of materials, consumables and tooling. -Participate and encourage others to participate in company Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) initiatives.

What You Bring
We’re looking for enthusiastic, self-motivated candidates who can work on their own and alongside our experienced engineering team, solving complex technical issues associated with valve products. Candidates must be able to effectively communicate and understand job instructions both verbally and written in the English language. If you have an extensive hand on mechanical or manufacturing background within the Oil and Gas or manufacturing industries, are committed to working in a safe manner and like the sound of joining a team that prides itself on delivering high quality services and products to our clients then we would welcome your application! -Ability to work independently as well as a team player. -Diploma in Mechanical (Manufacturing) Engineering Technology, Instrumentation or similar diploma. -Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within a project-based or industrial setting or additional qualifications in a relevant field is a plus. -Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments, both onshore and offshore, including client sites. -Effective communication skills and a professional presentation. -Minimum of 5 years of experience within a workshop. -Fully competent working alone on all valve and actuator types.
