What You Bring

-Minimum of 1 year of experience inspecting transportation projects required -High School diploma or equivalent. (Candidates with 8 years of relevant construction inspection experience may substitute experience for a high school diploma) -Proven problem-solving and documentation abilities -Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) -Work requires travel to meetings, site visits, and inspections. -Local candidates preferred -This position typically requires successfully passing drug-screening procedures prior to being hired; thereafter subject to random and cause drug and alcohol testing -A minimum of 3 years experience -Must be licensed to operate motor vehicles in accordance with applicable state law -Ability to work independently and as part of a team -Proficient with MS Office (Word/Excel/Outlook) -Strong written and verbal communication skills -Ability to work independently or as part of team -Management experience a plus -NCDOT experience preferred
