Tasks
-System Analysis: Prepare engineering studies and evaluate existing systems to recommend improvements or replacements. -Client Engagement: Interface directly with clients to understand needs, present solutions, and build long-term relationships. -Team Development: Collaborate with project managers to define scope, budget, and staffing needs, while mentoring and growing a high-performing engineering and design team. -Quality Oversight: Conduct quality reviews and ensure deliverables meet the highest standards—approximately 50% of your time will be focused on project execution and oversight. -Lead Projects: Independently manage mechanical and piping design projects from concept through completion, including HVAC, chilled water, heating water, dust collection, and control systems. -Design Excellence: Develop detailed designs, drawings, and specifications for mechanical systems in pharmaceutical and food & beverage facilities.

What You Bring
-Deep knowledge of mechanical codes and standards (ASHRAE, ACGIH, NFPA). -Experience with dust collection and material handling systems. -8+ years of design engineering experience, with a focus on HVAC and utility systems. -Registered Professional Engineer (PE). -Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. -Familiarity with central utilities: steam, chilled water, compressed air. -Familiarity with ISPE and HACCP standards. -Experience in consulting for pharmaceutical or food & beverage manufacturing environments. -Strong understanding of GMP environments and cleanroom design. -Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office Suite.
