Tasks
-Updates notification and attaches approved, completed PDCA card -Generates QFL cards and lists details and pictures from the reject part -Generates Q notifications and lists details in SAP -Responsible for maintaining QFL system -Promotes a compliance culture in area of responsibility and lives the letter and the spirit of the Rolls-Royce Code of Conduct. -Supports and guides assembly corrective actions to QFL findings -While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk and stand; sit, use hands or fingers, handle, or feel objects, tools, parts, or controls reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to balance and climb; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. -Performs containment activity with directions and support -Manages CAR board per 1-8-30 rule -Uses SAP to issue move tickets and notifications -Inspects engine assembly quality and reports findings using the QFL System and SAP -Maintains clean and orderly work areas and complies with safety regulations to help ensure a safe working environment -Responsible for managing parts on salvage area carts and start QFL process -Performs special projects as may be required and maintain on the job flexibility by providing support in quality, assembly, and other production related areas -Monitors past due notifications and sends reminders to coordinators -Supports gauge and tool calibration process -Inspects engine component quality and reports findings using the QFL system and SAP -Receives feedback from coordinators and sends the PDCA card for approvals -Identifies and reduces non-value-added work

What You Bring
-Three years of experience in a durable goods assembly or manufacturing environment -Basic ability to work independently and a strong desire to continuously learn and improve -Ability to lift, push, pull weights in the 20-60 lb. -Basic oral and written communication skills -Basic knowledge of OSHA safety requirements and the ability to use relevant information and individual judgment to determine whether events or processes comply with laws, regulations or standards -The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception. The employee may also be exposed to any number of elements but with none present to the extent of being disagreeable. -Experience in assembly processes requiring torqued fasteners -Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills -Working Knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 standards -Intermediate knowledge and experience with torque equipment and standard measurement equipment such as micrometers, calipers, and gage blocks -Intermediate blueprint reading skills with a high attention to detail -Basic interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with other employees -Intermediate typing and MS office skills -Intermediate PC knowledge and the ability to efficiently operate computer terminals and scanning devices -“Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S without sponsorship.
