Overview
Oversee remediation construction teams, manage budgets, schedules, and client relations.

Tasks
-Prepare pre-construction, proposals and estimating phases of projects. -Provide oversight on multiple project sites to skilled/certified and unskilled laborers and heavy equipment operators in the performance of remediation construction services. -Assure any necessary permits and utility notifications are secured and any required inspections are conducted. -Provide training and development to staff. -Provide daily monitoring and progress of current and upcoming projects. -Plan, schedule and dispatch staff to project sites based on skill set, certifications, location, project and priority, in coordination with Project Manager. -Maintain client relations and develop new client relations (pushing work/pulling work in). -Develop and maintain project schedule status and communicate with Department Managers, Project Managers and Office Managers on resource requirements and project updates. -May provide assistance with testing services, as needed. -Monitor cost, including equipment, labor time and materials. -Monitor testing and remediation construction services to ensure it is completed based on project plans and specifications; provide technical guidance and work direction. -Regularly communicate with clients to provide up to date information regarding the company’s ability to meet expected project timelines, client needs for projects and project status. -Participate in the recruitment and selection of staff. -Lead safety efforts for team and ensure team follow safety rules and guidelines. Responsible for creating and modeling a safe work environment; ensuring an Injury-Free Environment through own actions and mentor others and demonstrates safety practices. Promote pre-task planning for all projects. -Review and approve submittals for processing and contractor payment applications with Project Manager. Review cost reports to assure they reflect accurate quantities and work put in place. -Attend and participate in project meetings, including client and subcontractor meetings. -Promote continuous quality monitoring and improvement on projects. Monitor quality standards and practices. Engage Approved Project Reviewers (APRs) on projects at their onset.

What You Bring
-Valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history. CDL preferred. -Department of Transportation Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) -Develop understanding and be aware of project-related risk. Be familiar with what could go wrong on a project and how to protect the Company. Be familiar with company risk policies. -Experience as an equipment operator may be substituted for education. -For Remediation Construction projects, TWIC and DOT medical card preferred. -Bachelor’s degree in technical discipline practiced by the Firm including Construction Management, Engineering, Environmental Science, or Geology and 6 years’ remediation construction experience. Or, in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 10 years’ related experience. -Minimum 3 years’ supervisory experience. -Computer knowledge and efficiency, including Microsoft Office products. -Strong decision making/problem solving skills. -Excellent time management and organizational skills.
