-Leverage your expertise in ScriptRunner, Python, and Git/GitHub to automate processes, troubleshoot issues, and ensure optimal performance and reliability for our clients Atlassian ecosystem -Utilizes JSM to triage and address users requests -Administration, configuration, and ongoing support of Jira Cloud, Jira Service Management (JSM), Confluence, and related Atlassian tools -Supporting a large-scale Jira Cloud environment with approximately 30,000 users

What You Bring

We are recruiting an experienced Jira Cloud Support Engineer to join our team to support our client in the automotive industry. -Ability to configure workflows, custom fields, permission schemes, issue level security -Python, GitHub, Jira Python experience -Experience with Atlassian Access and enterprise user management -Prior experience supporting Jira Cloud instances with at least 5,000 users (preferably 10,000+) -Prior administration experience with Atlassian Analytics, Jira Product Discovery, and Compass -Familiarity with ITIL practices and service management frameworks -Strong communications and organizational skills -Familiar with process control, optimization and analysis of data -Ability to construct basic scripts leveraging REST API calls -Knowledge of security best practices in Atlassian Cloud -Finance background is a plus -Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies -Experience with incident and change management processes -Experience in conflict resolution and supervising a unionized workforce is an asset -Exposure to large-scale migrations or consolidations within Atlassian Cloud products -Experience with monitoring and alerting tools (e.g., Opsgenie, PagerDuty) -Experience with advanced Jira automation (native and third-party tools) -Minimum 3 years of hands-on administration experience with Jira Cloud, including Jira Service Management (JSM) -Strong scripting skills using ScriptRunner for Jira -Strong background in PC applications (Excel, Access, Word, Power Point, CATS, PFS, HPIMS, ODIMS, PSAP) -The ideal candidate will have a proven track record managing large Jira Cloud instances, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced setting -Experience training or onboarding end-users and admins -Strong diagnostics and problem-solving skills -Familiarity with SAML SSO and identity provider integrations (Okta, Azure AD, etc.) -Demonstrated experience with Python development for automation and integrations -Proficiency in Confluence administration and integration with Jira Cloud -Experience providing on-call support for enterprise-scale Atlassian environments -Experience with Azure / Entra (or other Identity provider) integration is expected -Strong team player with initiative, willing to work both independently and within a team -Exposure to Atlassian Cloud-to-Cloud migrations -Familiarity with Atlassian Forge app development -Bachelor's Degree -Experience with pull requests, branching and Git fundamentals Jira -Experience with labor agreements and labor control -Experience working in a distributed or fully remote team environment -Knowledge of Atlassian Marketplace apps and their administration -Experience with collaborating with customers to configure a JSM service desk -Exposure to Atlassian Insight/Assets for asset management -Solid understanding and practical experience with Git and GitHub for version control and workflow management
