Senior CAD Designer - Land Development

Overview

Create detailed civil land‑development drawings, calculate quantities, and coordinate with project teams.

Tasks

-Prepare accurate presentation, design, and construction documents using AutoCAD. -Calculate quantities, areas, and other essential data necessary for land development civil engineering designs. -Assist in compiling construction plans from all disciplines and ensure timely submission to agencies with jurisdiction. -Implement and utilize established CAD standards, templates, and best practices to ensure consistency and quality. -Collaborate and coordinate with the project team, including engineers, architects, designers, consultants, and clients. -Interpret relevant codes, regulations, and client requirements to guide the design process. -Travel periodically to perform site investigations, take measurements, and observe construction progress, followed by the preparation of detailed reports and exhibits.

What You Bring

-Comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively with a team -Valid state-issued driver's license with a clean driving record -Excellent oral, written and organizational skills. -Detail oriented, quality conscious, reliable and self-motivated. -Associate’s Degree or Computer - Aided Design Certificate -Adaptable and receptive to instruction from others. -Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook. -Experience in Commercial, Retail, Restaurant, and Industrial projects is a plus. -Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Adobe Suite software’s and drafting techniques.
