Tasks

-Undertake tree risk assessments. -Assess and negotiate arboricultural and landscaping solutions relating to the development process including recommending development consent conditions and attending pre-lodgement meetings. -Issue notices, orders in accordance with various legislative Acts -Investigate and represent Council in legal matters, such as representing Council at the Land and Environment Court. -Provide a high level of customer service

What You Bring

-Process tree permit and tree works development applications. -A Diploma Arboriculture (AQF Level 5), -A Degree in Horticulture/Landscape Architecture, or Diploma of Landscape Design or equivalent, -Specialised tertiary qualifications and skills in the application of theoretical knowledge within a statutory and judicial framework: -Current motor vehicle Driver Licence.
