Tasks

-Assist the commercial team on compensation events build-ups -Provide tender handover packs demonstrating strategy at tender stage on all successful bids -Assess tender/quotation conditions upon receipt and identify any risk -Attend pre-tender meetings/events -Ensuring delivery and communication of a quality ‘end-to-end’ process for the customer -Review unsuccessful tenders and analyse and implement an improvement strategy for future bids to ensure growth targets are met

-Right to work in the UK unsponsored -Essential to have the interpersonal skills to be able to interface successfully with a wide range of people both within and outside the company -Proficient in the use of a PC, Microsoft Office suite of software and the ability to work with other business management systems -Attention to detail and ability to think laterally and problem solve -Excellent geographical and numerical skills -Ability to collate and reconcile information for monthly reporting -Previous experience of the traffic management industry either practical TM experience or experience of working in the highway maintenance sector. -An ability to work within a high-performing, fast-moving team -Understanding and engaging with colleagues' remit/workloads for holiday cover -An ability to network and create new business relationships -Highways Permitting experience -Prioritise workload and demonstrate customer engagement -Other formal commercial or business management qualifications -Ability to recognise and capitalise on digital services opportunities -Highly motivated individual -Full UK driving licence as travel is a requirement of this role -NHSS 12a,b,c or d qualifications -Understanding of digital services and product deployment
