Tasks

-Cross-Functional Support - Engage with internal stakeholders, including Customer Service, Operations, and Sales, to address system performance, installation planning, and customer requirements. -Problem Solving - Lead troubleshooting efforts and resolve technical challenges related to mechanical systems. -Leadership & Mentorship - Mentor less experienced engineers and support continuous improvement within the engineering department. -Documentation & Reporting - Prepare detailed design documentation, including technical drawings, schematics, and specifications. -Planning & Budgeting - Assist in developing project timelines and budgets while tracking progress and managing resources effectively. -Collaboration & Communication - Work closely with engineering, operations, and project management teams to ensure that designs meet performance, quality, and cost targets. -Performance Optimization - Conduct engineering calculations, simulations, and analysis to validate system performance and reliability. -Technical Design & Development - Design and develop mechanical systems and components for advanced manufacturing equipment, utilizing CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).

What You Bring

-Working knowledge of project management tools (e.g., MS Project). -Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. -Familiarity with manufacturing processes and techniques. -Experience with industrial automation, robotics, and controls. -Ability to work independently while collaborating with diverse teams. -Proven experience managing engineering projects and leading cross-functional teams. -Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Inventor, AutoCAD) and engineering analysis tools (e.g., FEA). -Strong leadership and project management skills. -Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (BSME, BSEE, or BSIE). Minimum of seven years of hands-on engineering experience in industrial machinery or material handling equipment design. -Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
