The Role

Overview

Assist PM in managing electrical/security projects, estimating, billing, and safety.

Tasks

-Provide advice, guidance, mentoring, and direction to subordinates and other junior personnel -Manage project review process with particular emphasis on financial forecasting -Oversee the project through administrative direction of on-site supervision to ensure the project -Frequent project visits with field supervision and other personnel to understand progress, needs, -Support and participate in company-sponsored initiatives and activities -or issues. Assist in the planning of future labor/material needs of the project -Build long-term relationships with both clients and fellow employees by consistently meeting -Generate estimates, prepare and review project proposal or plan to determine and establish a -Ensure all company, client, and project policies/procedures are adhered to as specified -Responsible for job site safety and adherence to company policies and national safety standards -Responsible for continuously expanding and updating professional knowledge and honing skills -Generate billings and lead the collections process for projects -is built per design, budget, and schedule. Includes interfacing with the customer to validate -Plan, coordinated, and managed activities of all company personnel and subcontractors on -Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials to the job site by working directly with -Provide consistent feedback and reports to the business unit vice president

What You Bring

-Strong computer skills are required. -Able to work independently as well as in a team environment -A college degree is preferred -Excellent organizational skills -Assistant project management experience preferred -A good understanding of how to read electrical and mechanical drawings is required. -Electrical, Integrated Security Solutions, and AV systems experience preferred. -Excellent verbal and written communication skills
