Overview

Lead rural valuations and manage a team of valuers at Strutt & Parker Oxford.

Tasks

-Management of major valuation portals -Undertaking valuations for a range of purposes including loan security, tax, inheritance and estate planning (rural, residential and development/planning appraisal)

What You Bring

-Accuracy and attention to detail -Demonstrate team leadership, capable of building relationships with existing and new clients and generating new opportunities -Competent and experienced RICS qualified rural surveyor with experience of delivering work across a range of projects -Experience in working in a regional setting potentially covering more than one office location. -FAAV qualified an advantage -Confident manner with clients and the team -Possess a composed manner in order to be able to work under pressure -Excellent communication skills - must be capable of building and maintaining good relationships with team members, other colleagues and clients -An understanding of confidentiality issues and the use of discretion -RICS (with good amount of PQE) -Entrepreneurial, analytical, dynamic and able to apply professional and commercial judgement to deliver results -RICS Registered Valuer -Ability to network, influence, negotiate -Reliable, friendly, approachable and supportive, able to inspire others, to coach and develop people’s skills -Ability to meet deadlines -Good time management and ability to prioritise workloads -High quality reporting -Proficient in the use of Word, Excel and mapping software -Strong prior experience in agricultural and rural residential valuations
